About Me

I'm an Australian girl with a bit of a nomadic lifestyle right now... Having spent the past couple of years travelling throughout Asia and living/working in Taiwan, I'm ready to explore, experience and throw myself into a different part of the world.

When travelling, I love to mix with the locals, do as the locals do, eat where the locals eat, and go where the locals go...so, I'm turning my life into a constant search for good locations, good food, good experiences and most of all, good people!

In my opinion travel is not always so much about the destination, as it is about the people and the journey there. People are everything about a place; to know a place, you should know the people. I'm not so interested in tourist-site hopping - my most memorable moments traveling - and throughtout my life - are and have always been with people, rather than specific places or things. I appreciate people and being around them.

As for my personality, I am honest, loyal and open-minded. I really love learning about new things - anything - and will try almost anything once.
I am a passionate story teller, coffee drinker, self-professed foodie, adventure seeker, music-lover, craft-beer drinker and I have the potential to be good at karaoke.
I'm an absolute dreamer; I'm always thinking of ways to make life that little bit more magical. I'm spontaneous and I like to say yes to new things; I get bored easily if I'm in a place doing the same thing for too long. I'm adventourous and a bit of a free spirit. I'll treat you like an old friend of mine, no matter who you are.

Besides the obvious that I love to travel, meet new people and learn about anything and everything - I am a 'dabbler' in lots of different things, and a true creative at heart. I am always thinking of and starting different projects, I'm full of ideas and I usually always have a sketch book close by.

I also enjoy spontaneous dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

Those who give generously are the happiest people.

Interests

My interests are vast and varied and I like to dabble and learn/try many different things.
Besides my passion for travel, my interests include art [art culture, drawing, galleries, street art, making, hand-made...], music and live music scenes, cooking, baking, eating, craft beer and good coffee, reading, exploring and wandering, festivals, markets, reading, writing, photography, learning new things, socialising and people watching, culture, languages, politics and current events, history, old junk stores, maps and globes, quirky things... to name a few.
