ABOUT ME

Despite I think I have not traveled enough abroad (About Colombia you can ask me everything), travelling is one of the most grateful experience someone could live, the fact to meet people around the world, to have the chance to share particular things about your culture, to stay in places you always have wanted to visit, to see unimaginable landscapes and keep unforgettable memories for the rest of your life... all those experiences are priceless.
I am a production/manufacturing engineer but now that I have finished college I just wanna travel and discover wonderful people and places around the world. I consider myself as an easygoing, honest, respectful and trustworthy person. I love meeting new people everywhere with different points of view and to learn and share new cultural experiences. I am an open minded guy with a wide perspective of the world. I do not like to feel as a tourist, when I travel I like to discover real places, the real city, not just to be a tourist. I also love to share time with local people wherever I go, to experience the real culture of the place to see it through their eyes. Why do not we hang out?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience started in Rio de Janeiro. I wont never forget how kind Claudio was and the way he trusted on me, he gave me the confidence to love this community then I stayed in couches in Paraty, Sao Paulo, Bs As and off course I will keep using this social network.

Interests

I love discovering new places and learn about different cultures specially from foreign people because you mentally always visit different places through their stories. Nothing better than a intelligent and interesting conversation.
My hobby and passion: photography
I really appreciate art, even though I am an engineer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Colombian Literature (Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jorge Franco, Laura Restrepo, Latin American Literature (Julio Cortazar) and of course Henry Miller from the states.

Music: Folk, indie, house, chill out, ambient & electro house... and I'm a latin guy so off course I also like salsa, colombian cumbia, vallenato.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fly... Jump out of a plane and feel that you are flying is the most amazing thing Ive ever done so far. As well as:
I saw and felt the salty sea for first time when I was 20 and it wasn't in my country, after that I decide to travel and discover deeply my country: Colombia and I realized how many wonderful places and people we have and It has been useful to teach people why we have one of the richest countries around the world and the nicest people in the world regardless the social issues.
One of the most beautiful landscapes I have seen in life is the Grand Canyon in arizona, I went there with some friends and the experience was unforgettable.
