ABOUT ME

I don't know if anyone can get it in one box in a good way. It's potentially impossible. But I'll try:

I like knowing things; I like finding things out and understanding the world and the people around me, bit by bit. Ask me anything you like, I promise I'll be honest, or at the least entertaining.

I love art in any medium and will never cease to be amazing at how fucking human and superhuman it can be. We need art like we need roofs above our head.

I want to get people involved in the art I make. All people. Any people. Not just those who know where the galleries are and the art scene. I like making work in public, for the public.

I like tattoos, trying to ride bikes, cooking, running through the city, fortunate accidents, theatre shows in gutters, glitter on the pillow in the morning, reading, dancing on tables and anyone who is passionate about what they do.

I like a good drink, a good meal, a good coffee, a good cigarette and a good conversation. Let's share one, if not all of those and see how we get on.

PHILOSOPHY

Do it now. There will never be a better time. Bravery is bravery for a reason. It's hard but well-won.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people and make the world smaller by visiting new places and people.
When I settled in a city again, I'll gladly host anyone who feels the same.

I've yet to have one but I'm excited about the possibilities!

Interests

I make performance art and it's the reason for most of my travelling - through it I get incredible opportunities to spend time in other countries and share ideas and concepts, as well as learn from others.
I'm interested in anyone who is passionate about what they do, and about people.
The main driving forces for what I do are people and catharsis.

Before perfromance art, I dabbled as an acrobat, a playwright, an archaeologist and a teenage hermit.

I will be in Berlin for the whole of May at the Performance Art Festival exploring every avenue of art I can. Come and join me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first night I was in Paris I was let into miles of private cellars under a restaurant in the 2nd arrondissement after closing hours. I wandered around for hours, scuffing my shoes drunkenly on the graves and trying to count the bottles.

Being inside the same jumper with someone else rolling around a public park, being a chimera of a bouffon.

The first ever performance piece I did.

Preserving foods - I can make everything from capers to smoked fish.
