ABOUT ME

Hard to say. I will let this "duty" to the others :)

Something I can say is that I love playing the camaleon, as we say in Portuguese. By this I mean, I love adapting and enjoying different and varied settings. This includes meeting and dealing with people of very different backrounds, social conditions, nationalities etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love joining the open air activities. It can be a live music performance, all sort of hiking, or simply a picnic - and why not a "luau" (i.e. full moon party!) on the beach?!

(Had to come here edit my profile to say that Luau II, one year later, was really great too!)

I recenty joined this group in search for people like me, interested in having safe fun together in some activities - usually free ones and open air - I would love to do and sometimes I do not do as much as I would like for lack of company.
(Again, one year later, all expectations fulfilled + new true friends made)

Samba most of all, but am quite ecletic.
Very keen on Brazilian cultura - from art exhibitions to recent movies as City of God, and Elite Squad I and II.

Halong Bay is probably the most striking one. Goreme or Capadocia in general comes as a close 2nd. But I love the sea, and water in general, so this justifies the ranking.

I know it will get outdated soon :) but I can not avoid saying I am proud of this week of mine! I joined the Luau in Paquetá with CS and after partying all night (I slept for about 1h on the beach) I went trecking the Costão de Itacoatiara! And made great new friends, in spite of being half a zombi for the day!
