ABOUT ME

I'm Simay (pronounced Simai), but most of my friends call me Zim. I'm a Capricorn girl, and every year I like to rub it in people's faces that I share the same birthday with David Bowie, Elvis Presley and Stephen Hawking-- my birthday is also the day that Tom and Summer meet for the first time in 500 Days of Summer. I like books (obviously!), movies and tv shows as much as everyone else. I also like reading footnotes and thankyous in cd booklets, dancing in the rain, knitting and crocheting, staying up all night for literature, learning new things, ink, living inside my own head, bursting into song at random times and most of the things others might consider "weird."

Interests

I'm a book NERD and a librocubicularist. If you don't know what this means, Google it! I like watching movies and tv, but DEFINITELY not mainstream Turkish TV. When it comes to music, rock and alternative are my favorite, but I also listen to pop; but I can't stand screechy sounds, too many loud beats, and a single word being repeated for 10 minutes straight. I'm a fan of musicals. I like going out to eat and drink. Not a dependable cook.
