ABOUT ME

I am catalan and I born in Barcelona but I grew up in coastal little village in la Costa Brava (Girona).
I have been studying the degree and the master in the University Barcelona, including a great Erasmus experience in Genova (Italy).
Nowadays I am doing the phD in Plant Science at the University of Canterbury (Christchurch,New Zealand)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm really optimistic and idealistic, and I consider the only way to change the world, both economically and socially, starts changing the conciousness of personal environtment, that is local action and social cohesion. I'm still looking for an alternative way to live far from the established cliche.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A lot of people recommend me CS to travel for both meet good people and for pay low expenses. I will participate giving possibilities for travelers to explore the place where I live in the best possible way.

Interests

I like to travel since I was a child, to meet, respect and spread new cultures and traditions wherever I go (probably because I'm catalan!). Also, my life has always been very close with nature, the study of plants and green conscious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was incredible to see the full-stars sky in the Sahara desert, to joint the carnival in a little town lost in the Andes. One of the best invigorating experiences it was to be one of the many people from the collective 15M, participating in the occupy and demonstrations, shouting for a real democracy.
