About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live a simple and peaceful life

ABOUT ME

I love simple things and peaceful life.
Currently I live in London, got a small room, but maybe able to host one person.

In my opinion diversity is something great and I'm eager to know about other ways of life but also am quite attached to my own and unlikely to change them.

I think that people presenting extremely different points of view on the same matter can talk, exchange their thoughts but can never understand each other and there's nothing wrong about that. Despite that I truly believe that there's common understanding about the most important things in every one of us.

I like to talk about matters, that interest me but when I have nothing to say I just do not say anything, so, under some circumstances, I can be perceived as not very talkative, silent person.

So as either possible host or willing guest be sure to have something in common with me or we'll just be sitting in silence :) which, by the way, isn't something bad at all.

I love to have all that I need in a backpack, sleep in a tent or even without it and be closes to nature as possible.

I like to cook and mix different cuisines.

I'm not a fan of collecting: neither things nor experiences. I think, that the more things we have to less free we are. Also I think that collecting experiences is selfish.

PHILOSOPHY

Live fully, but in a peaceful mood.
I think that my point of view on the world and life is closest to buddhism.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love blues and that's a very broad notion - also rythm'n'blues, rock'n'roll, rock, jazz, even country, soul and funky.
I like Beethoven's Moonlight sonata, Pachelbel's Canon in D major, Dvorak's Symphony from the New World, Sinatra and Johnny Cash and that's not all.
It's been pointed out to me that putting Beethoven here is kindda snobbish, but I really don't see, why.
Lately I'm also totally enchanted by Mumford & Sons.
I dance bachata sensual / moderna and I'm getting better and better at it :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked a lorry with kayak; survived few times in a middle of a strom in tent; travelled many kilometers with egg-sized blisters on the bottom of my feet; lit a pretty big campfire with totally wet wood few minutes after downpour.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn harmonica.
I can teach something about gnu/linux or something about sociology.
I'm eager to share dishes I prepare and my experiences.
