About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A curious guy willing to explore the world and learn from all kind of people so that I grow as a better person

ABOUT ME

I am Alejandro, I am 31 years old. I am from Bogota, Colombia and I love travelling!. I am an English/ Spanish teacher and I love exploring the world, its flavors, colors and sounds.
To me, travelling is more than just having fun in another place. It means learning and personal growth. One is never the same person after having been abroad. Meeting people from all over the world makes you a better person with a wider understanding of humanity. That is what I expect from such experiences; I enjoy reading the world by living it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new on this site, however I've heard about it through some friends, but just until now I've decided to undertake this adventure and give myself the chance to travel in a different way.
One of my very close friends is a frequent couchsurfing user, we met in Bogota and though he didn't stay at my place he told me about this new way to travel which I found fascinating!

Interests

Obviously travelling. Music (Bjork, Sinead O'connor, Kate Bush, world music, chillout and new age music among other.) not much into commercial stuff. movies (the hours, amelie, la vie en rose, kill bill) conversation around a cup of coffee or tea. I don't smoke and I drink alcohol socially but not very often
