CURRENT MISSION

To explore Europe before heading across to live in Canada. Jaan has dutch heritage and has never before visited Europe, so we are doing the rounds so he can see Holland and meet some of his family for the first time.

Hello! This is Faye and Jaan, a Brit and a Kiwi. We met whilst living in Melbourne, Australia last year. We love to travel and try different things, to have new experiences, to meet new people, and visit interesting places!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Faye-
I went couchsurfing for the first time the summer of 2013. Stayed with some amazing people in Europe on an interrailing trip! Since then I have couchsurfed in Barcelona, and attended couchsurfing events in Berlin and Melbourne.
Jaan-
I have experience hosting couchsurfers in my home country New Zealand.

I have a huge pile of books I want to get through, currently I am reading The Chrysalids by John Wyndham. Music-I'm into all sorts-every week it changes. Movies- I love Indie films, things that are a bit quirky and also movies with great cinematography.

I climbed Mount Batur, a volcano in Bali, in the early hours in the dark, and on summiting I saw the most incredible sunrise...I even cooked breakfast in the volcanic steam at the top!

I can teach English-I can teach 'Northern' English ha! I know a bit of Spanish and French, and love learning languages.
I also love music and can play the piano, alto saxophone, and a few songs (very badly) on ukulele..so I can teach these too!
