About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Scientifically figure out why people like to mix whiskey with coke.

ABOUT ME

1. I'm a huge francophile at heart.
2. I have a sycophantic relationship to anything Baz Luhrmann ever directed (yes, that includes the great gatsby, you can berate me all you like. I stand by the man)
3. I live for directing. Love it to death.
4. Totally open to new and different experiences, especially when it comes to food.
5. I'll go to despicable lengths for good chocolate. and I mean despicable...

PHILOSOPHY

Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.
- The man, nay, the god - Oscar Wilde

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few times while I was living in New York and in Paris.

Been hosted in New York, Amsterdam, Viet Nam.

Love meeting new and different people. Nothing feels more enjoyable to me than witty banter and good conversation.

Interests

Filmmaking!

Other than that, languages, theater, food, art, culture, and just about anything creative. All that and the perpetual hunt for a good martini.

Music, Movies, and Books

M83. Breathe Carolina. Lifehouse. I'm generally pretty eclectic with music. Just don't play any death metal around me and I'll be fabulous company!

I'd die listing movies, so anything between Call Me By Your Name, Black Swan, Moulin Rouge and Saving Mr. Banks is personally a good place for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wanted to put down something that I could take some credit for, but this one was all coincidence.

Started talking to this woman in a cafe in Amsterdam. Pleasantries turned to conversation about art and film. Turns out she was a Heinekin. Took me on a private tour of the factory. Best. Four. Hours. Ever.
