ABOUT ME

We are Maura and Luca, a young couple of Italian friends. We are 23 years old and come from Sardinia, a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea. Three weeks ago, we got our degree in "Oriental languages and cultures" at University of Rome "La Sapienza", where we studied Chinese and Hindi language, and acquired some skills in oriental literature, arts, history and philosophy. We are looking for a life experience, to meet new people, give our helpfulness, and to practice English.
Last year we spent two months in the little town of Totnes, in the south of England, for discovering the idea of Transition Town.
Now we are in the Little Community Flower in Rochester (NY) and we would like to visit Florida before we leaving to Italy.

Interessen

Luca likes to play string instruments (guitar, bass, ukulele),Maura likes to play with bolas. We both love to draw, to write and read. Especially we likes to discover cultures and traditions from all over the world, indeed last year we spent 4 months at Beijing, China.
As all Italian people, we love to eat but to cook is our real passion.
