Work as a writing coach for postgraduate students in Monterey, CA. Background in teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Starting a family, our little bean is due mid July 2019.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a very good experience when I stayed with someone in Colombia. I look at different events that are going on in the city to meet up and have a good time with different people. I was able to go on an awesome weekend camping trip with people from CS! It seems to be a nice community of people, helping each other out with finding living situations, things to do, advice about places etc.

Interests

I like learning/teaching language: English/Spanish/Mandarin/hopefully more in the future.

Traveling and living in different places, becoming familiar with different things.

I like to read. I sometimes draw.

I like to be active. My favorite way to exercise is dancing. I go for jogs they make me feel calm and make my body feel great. Also yoga, strength training, playing tennis, basketball, hiking, biking, walking.

Karaoke is fun, whether in a bar or at home using youtube videos. I'm not horrible, nor excellent, it just makes me happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not crazy about electronic or heavy metal music. I am interested in discussing them though and understanding why others like those genres.

I read different things. I enjoy reading very much and I read things from classics to HPotter. I enjoy reading Spanish novels to keep my Spanish sharp and expand my vocabulary.

Movies and television are definitely my weak point. I do like the Big Bang Theory though and I like Disney movies a lot. I don't know names of celebrities. Might have heard them but I can't put a face to their name.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Found out that torrentismo is really fun! It is rapeling down a waterfall. Paragliding was very relaxing and not as scary as I thought it would be. Considering I was a very cautious child, these were pretty big moments for me :P

Teach, Learn, Share

English and Spanish, I want to learn Mandarin.

Depending on your abilities, I'm not a bad salsa dancer. I'm so-so at merengue, vallenato, and cumbia. But if you want to practice some salsa, I'm your girl, not that I am amazing because I have pretty basic salsa moves but I highly enjoy it. So, let's dance.
