From Scotland and recently graduated from University. I decided to take the opportunity to see and experience new places before the world tried to pin me down. I really like golden kiwi fruit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbie to 'couchsurfer' so please be nice to me. In my life time I have slept on, floors, in trees, alone, in hostel rooms full of strangers, on 14hour bus rides in 40 degree heat. Your couch might just be the best sleep I have ever had!

Interests

I am interested in doing as much as I possibly can in the best possible ways that I can before my body can't keep up with my mind any more.

Singing, dancing, swimming, reading, writing, crying, laughing, drawing, discussing, designing, drinking coffee, drawing on coffee cups, eating, sleeping, arranging flowers, arranging parties, discovering new people, discovering new places, enjoying familiar people, enjoying familiar places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies, music, books... probably in that order!

I am in love with film. I have a respectful appreciation for all genres and directors and actors and plots. However, a bad film is a bad film but lets remember that's what makes us realize the greatness of a great film.

I listen to music to give myself a break from myself. I like it with lyrics. I enjoy well played drums and I prefer to absorb it in a social scenario.

I read books but i am not a literature expert. I don't like to read about cosmopolitan women who are tortured with the decision of work or home life and who they are currently sleeping with. That's what the occasional 'Sex in the City' viewing is for.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed my 'PADI' (scuba-diving certificate) off the coast of Koh Tao, Thailand where i was instructed by this super cool, assertive, English women who had been teaching for 12 years. On my third day in the water I swam next to my amazing instructor, not meters away from a baby whale shark. He hung about to show off his mad swimming skills for 15 minutes and was gone. It was the first time my well experienced instructor had ever seen one in real life. She almost cried with excitement.

Also, we got along so well she enrolled me into a free night diving lesson that her boyfriend coached. Being under the water in the middle of the ocean is an indescribable feeling. My favorite part might have been floating on the surface of the water staring up at the starry sky with no lights, no noise, absolutely no interference.
