To visit as many Asian countries as possible and try the amazing foods and meet some interesting people. Now been to Phillipines, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia.

Next Europe July/August first time ever, so excited....Spain, Belgium, Holland, Czech Rep., Italy....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment just travelling and interested in finding people to show me round the best foodie spots or share a meal and travel stories. Happy to show anyone around Melbourne as well cbd or countryside around Dandenong ranges, Yarra Valley or elsewhere

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I mainly travel alone, staying in low cost hotels rather than couchsurfing itself (but will try some couchsurfing on my next trip). What I do use couchsurfing for a lot is as a great way to meet others for meals or drinks and especally meeting locals and learning the good places to go in their cities.

Local experience can't be beaten & catching up with fellow travelers is always interesting as you get lots of good tips and ideas about other places to visit.

Interests

Like Art, food of all types, markets and cooking, Hiking and travelling, Live Music and drinks, good conversation, learning about others and sharing info about New Zealand and Australia. Have a wide variety of past experiences - Chef, University Tutor, run various retail shops and last ten years Web development and internet marketing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Nelson Lakes In NZ was close to top of my list of favourite things. But travel in Thailand is a lot of fun too, so many wonderful friendly people and amazing food. The beautiful hills in Laos and how peaceful and unspoilt it is made a huge impact, can't wait to return.
Concerts by Roger Waters and Tool would also be rated highly.
