ABOUT ME

Hello my name is Joy Brown. I would say I'm pretty easy going, very very funny, very clean, thoughtful and quite clever (most of the time). I'm super chill and love chillin. I'm usually up for most things. Love little adventures, and discovering new things. Love learning and exploring.

I graduated from The San Francisco Art Institute about a year ago and am currently trying to figure out if i am going to Grad school and if so where. I've been looking for a place in Oakland for a few weeks now and have been crashing on friends couches while looking. Its been quite the adventure and very interesting. I'm learning alot bouncing around like this. I'm hoping to find a couch in an awesome place/with awesome people for a day or 2, while searching for an apartment that will take me and my cat Franco (my cat is currently with me).

I love cooking. I am a great cook and would be willing to offer my culinary skills anytime. I also love cleaning and organizing, so I can give a hand in that department as well. Also I got jokes if you need a good laugh!

Interests

In my spare time i watch as many movies as I can. I love movies! I really fucking love movies, and hoping to be making my own movies very soon. When Im not watching movies, I'm hanging with friends, going on dance adventures, having deep conversations about art, and social justice stuff. I love to go to SF MOMA when ever I get the chance. I also really enjoy sitting by the lake and having lil picnics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finishing college was a pretty amazing thing for me. But the most amazing thing Ive ever seen is my goddaughter being born. That shit is crazy yo! You know a baby is coming out there but it doesnt really register until you see her/his head crowning. Then your like "oh shit theres a baby coming yo. This is really happening" The placenta is such a weird character, I did like thing at all.
