About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people and see the world.

ABOUT ME

I've recently finished my degree in French and Spanish at Oxford University. Currently loving being free and not quite sure what the future holds but excited about it whatever happens! I'm pretty chilled and fun, I love travelling and meeting new people, and I like to think I'm open, generous, kind and interesting.

You can judge for yourself once you've met me!

PHILOSOPHY

I suppose I could be boring, and write something about 'carpe diem', but to be honest I don't think I have a fixed philosophy.

I take life as it comes, and try to make the most of the good things and try to change bad things that can be changed, or learn to live with ones which can't be changed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Can't really host people - I live with my parents and nobody would really want to stay in the suburbs of London, but happy to meet up with people. And use it for a bed, friends and travel guides if I am travelling alone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet, but you have to start somewhere!

Interests

Cooking, going out, reading, journalism, restaurants, bars, museums, art, being with friends, meeting new people, politics, cinema, languages, the piano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Army. Climbing in Colca Canyon in Peru. Seeing the Amazon rainforest. Seville Cathedral. Amazing food in different parts of the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fluent in English and getting there in French and Spanish, so can help with languages. I love cooking and can help out with that - I'd say 'by cooking a traditional English dish', but I'd rather cook something that tasted nice instead (I love Asian, Spanish and Arabic food particularly).

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Spain, United Kingdom
