ABOUT ME
Being single, it means freedom and carefree; it means I'm patient enough to wait for what I deserve to get. I live independently in my own small flat. I'm a retired high school teacher and at times I work as a freelance Tour Leader from a travel company by bringing luxurious tour groups to travel overseas whenever I feel like to do. I may be old at age but always young in heart because the heart that loves is always young. At this point of age, I realize that finding inner peace has become the most important thing to me, or looking for things that are of quality, not quantity.

Similarly, after visited many places, I come to a realization that traveling is a journey in search of own self more than the destination itself. I've backpacked to a few countries, went beneath the skin of the places by moving slow, sustainable, experiential and local. From time to time I need to recharge my body's energy, invigorate my mind and enrich my soul.

PHILOSOPHY
LIVE everyday GIVE everyday. I prefer to give than to take. I feel grateful that I still can give and always be gratitude in all circumstances.

However, I am still in the process of learning how to forgive and forget; how to live in the present moment and letting go of the past.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
My hosts had given me a lot. Now it's my turn to give more. CS, just come in!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
I am brave to open my door to a stranger because I am naive to believe that my positive energy only attracts strangers with positive energy. Due to my reliability, generosity and caring personalities in nature, I equally believe that our positive ions will attract each other via the karmic reaction or the law of attraction that put us into connection. I always do things to the best of my ability because I treat you as my special guest. Not only the door of my house is open for you, but also the door of my heart is open for you too, no matter who you are, come in anytime.

POSITIVE Experience:
Knowing you knowing me by sharing the experiences and exchanging different view points.

NEGATIVE Experience:
Some couch surfers, with the attitude of hi and bye, no appreciation in word or speech despite having wonderful times together. Once their stays had over and their references had sent, it also means everything has ended with no further connections. Here, needless to comment surfers who did not turn up or they went to another host without a word of inform.

☆ Strong passion in traveling, swimming, long distance running and gym workout.
☆ Enjoy the silence of nature, from easy trekking to tedious hiking.
☆ Involved in mindfulness meditation in order to peace my frantic mind and to enrich my soul.
☆ Find solace in reading books for spiritual development so that to become a better person.
☆ Enjoy listening music, attending motivational talks and going out for concert/movie.
☆ Occasionally may indulge in sauna, jacuzzi and massage therapy as a form of relaxation.
☆ Also fashion-conscious and health-conscious.

☆ I am not much into movie. The last movie I watched was "Mars Needs Mom" in 2016 because my former student was one of the animators in making this 3D movie.
☆ I like listening to music/songs but avoid those which can spark a cascade of emotionally charged memories. I enjoy reading motivational and inspirational books.
☆ The last book I read was "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. The book I would like to read again and again is "The Secret" by Ronde Byrne.
☆ I really enjoy listening to talks especially those delivered by an Australian monk named Ajhan Brahmavamso.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most recent amazing thing I did in March 2017:
Despite of leg injury and insufficient trainning, I completed 100KM Ultra Marathon Running in 16 hrs 30 minutes. (The stipulated time given was 18 hours).

Whatever you think you want to learn from me, I am very willing to teach as long as it is within my capability. I am happy to share your joys and tears. Also I can lend you a shoulder to cry if you need one.
