About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and meet new people

ABOUT ME

I'm easy going and I'm enjoying this great adventure we call life. I feel like I am reborn. I’ve recently lost well over 200 pounds (and still losing slowly) and I’m working hard to tone up and get fit and healthy. This has created a whole new adventure in my life and I’m working to make the most of it.

I love to travel, and when I say, love… I mean, let’s get in the car right now and just drive. I’m all about finding a great deal on a flight and hotel and just experiencing life.

Yes, I’m grounded in reality, but I’m determined to live it, rather than just watch others live their lives. I’ve abandoned television for the most part, but I’m not beyond a good movie and cuddle time.

Fortunately, I work from my laptop and mobile phone. So as long as I have a good internet connection, I can work from anywhere in the world, and in any time zone. Internet

Marketing is my gig, and I do it well. So I have the freedom to do it however I want.

Be sure to ask me about…

- I once got lost in Poland, walking around, alone, in the middle of the night, almost mugged, no cell service, and my phone was on it’s last bit of battery.

- Recently I decided to sell everything I own, except my car, and just go. It was a six month decision, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.

- The autobahn in Germany, while driving a manual stick shift car, badly, and with no license. Foot to the floor!

- I met a girl at a club in Shenzhen China. She was so amazing, the take away was with me blindly getting into a cab for a 40 minute ride to a Filipino club. Was I being kidnapped? Fortunately, she turned out to be a good girl. Sometimes you just know.

- I once drove for an hour across Grand Cayman Island during a thunder storm... soaked, on a scooter.

PHILOSOPHY

I am the kind of guy that believes you should love people first, and whatever problems they're trying to overcome will be all that much easier. For the most part, I'm pretty easy going. As long as people aren't hurting others, then why should I object to whatever habits or preferences they may have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You won't have to worry about picking up after me. I'm not allergic to doing the dishes, taking out the trash, or anything like that. I enjoy helping out wherever I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My coachsurfing has been limited to friends, family, and hotels. I hate to impose, but I don't mind doing my part. I simply got tired of paying thousands of dollars to sit in an apartment by myself. So I've clicked off the TV, and here I am.

Interests

My interest include travel, being able to work from anywhere that I happen to be with a laptop and internet connection, and um.. travel. There's a whole planet to see here folks!

  • clubbing

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be into television and movies a lot more. I realized that I would rather live the fantasy than to watch others. Now obviously I can't travel to middle earth or to some exotic planet, and those are fun. I listen to just about any music, and my reading is focused on marketing related ebooks and audio books.
