About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel no matter how broke!
ABOUT ME
I've always loved traveling as an opportunity for personal reflection and motivation. I am a very busy bee, as I just finished up my bachelor's degree; and am working, researching, volunteering, and having a small social life. There is more to me in terms of pursuits and goals, however I suppose I can reserve most of this section for my personality. I feel that I have an interesting sense of humor and realistic outlook on life. I hope that in traveling and exposing myself to new cultures/friends/experiences I can learn to let my positive characteristics outshine my stress and anxiety!
Thank you for reading, xoxo
PHILOSOPHY
Always be as mindful and present as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used couchsurfing to find contacts for my two-month trip to Asia last summer. It turned out to be a wonderful resource, perhaps most notably in New Delhi, India where my friend and I were graciously invited to a surfer's home for 2 weeks. I plan to travel much more while I am young and eager, and eventually I want to host others when I have my own home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
India, as mentioned above. It was fantastic! My host made great efforts to increase our comfort, safety, and knowledge of the local landscape.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies/TV: X-Files. Anything with Tom Hanks!!! I also love documentaries. I don't have much time to watch television and I don't think that's a problem!
Music: http://www.last.fm/user/fscott29 (hardcore, punk, powerviolence, screamo, folk punk, indie, hip hop/rap, jpop, motown, and a million other things).
Books: I always have a stack I am trying to read through, but not enough time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited Angkor Wat in Cambodia, one of my life goals. It was very surreal.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook vegan food really well! I played violin for about ten years and am a bit rusty, but could still pass on basic skills.
I would love to learn more about cooking with diverse produce and spices. Also interested in learning about indoor gardening, crocheting & embroidery, outdoor survival basics, and so much more.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Canada, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Thailand, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
