Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Im relitivly new to this how couch surfing thing but i think its an awesome was to travel and meet people. ive been doing it unofficially for a while, and this just seems mor organised.

Interests

Traveling of course, being outside and great people. I also think meeting with locals lets you get a real feel for the country, not just the touristy places.

Like when i was "couch surfing" unoffically in Durban, South Africa, I was staying with a very interesting person, he was one of those people you will never forget. but he took me all over the place in Durban.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading all the old classics - East or Eden, Clock Work orange etc.

I cant picture my life without music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started Backpacking when i was 17, my first solo trip was to Myanmar (Before Obama Visited). i thikn i was possibly the yongest backpacker in the country at the time. for me learing that indipendence was somthing amazing that can not be tought at that age.

Favorite day of the trip was in Bagan, Rented a bkie and rode around an ancient city from sunrise to sunset, endlessly beautiful place. one of the happiest days of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

One think i have learn, with my Back packing/ couch surfing is LEARN TO PACK LIGHT. Ive seen hundreds of people struggle with their bags, it slows down and makes the trip uncomfortable.

Also, learn to recive and give, with te small thing, swapping books or stories can be one of the best ways to meet people.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Japan, Myanmar

Countries I’ve Lived In
