ABOUT ME

I'm a young lady with a craving for questionable decisions. I'm not travelled, because money, &c. Trying to remedy that.

I am always: fancy, thinking, wearing lipstick, crazy, narrating things dramatically in my head, walking.
I am frequently: drinking, reading, writing, dreaming about pretty clothes, spending too much money on snacks.
I sometimes am: doing silly voices, staring longingly at antiques, twisting the night away, pretending to Charleston.
I rarely am: sleeping at proper hours.
I never am: close-minded.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to not let things matter - it allows for more freedom.

Intereses

I love old-time pop culture. I can go on (and on, stop me) about queer cultural cannon - particularly as it relates to early cinema and 1880s-1960s literature.

I'm a bit dippy for Doctor Who.

I have an all-consuming obsession/interest in New German Film (fuck La Nouvelle Vague, man). Also: Withnail & I, Harold & Maude, Women in Love, City Lights, Death in Venice.

I listen to a lot of different music. I suppose I hone in on traditional folk music & pre-'50s pop as wholes. Lately, I've been enjoying Johnny Flynn, The National, Tom Waits, and Townes van Zandt.

I read a little of everything. Amongst others, I really like: John Keats, Marcel Proust, Somerset Maugham, Patricia Highsmith, Jonathan Ames.
