I'm 20 years old, Korean, female, freshman in university. In South Korea, students study very hard to get into better universities. I had to spend one more year than others because I wanted to challenge myself to pursue my higher goal, and finally I could get into the university I really wanted to go and study what I really wanted to study. And as a gift for myself,I'm planning to have an awesome trip during this 2013 summer vacation - traveling Europe! I've only been to Italy in 2005, so this can be considered as my first time visiting Europe. I'm going to Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Paris, Switzerland and Italy!
I LOVE taking pictures, taking a walk, hiking, watching great movies, eating delicious foods, visiting museums, chatting with friends and everything else. Basically I'm a very typical girl as a lots of poeple are , too. Even though I can't speak any other languages than English and Korean,(and a little bit of Russian) I believe that all people and have a great communication with a little bit of English and body language. But fortunately I can speak English pretty fluently, so communication won't be a big problem. Just in case you want to know more about me, I'm just a typical girl. I was an exchange student in USA for a year and I met lots of international friends at there. It was such a great experience to share cultural things - talking about their daily lives in home countries, what they study, what kind of culture they have, etc. So I want you to have the same kind of awesome experience too. It's just kind of hard to express how exactly awesome it is to have friends from all around the world who can share thoughts with each other. I'm not 'too shy' & not 'too cheerful' at the same time so it will be very easy to get along with me. I'm sometimes very talkative, but sometimes not when I don't know what to say. If you don't want me to interrupt you, then just please tell me, because that's totally fine by me. I wish I could meet lots of awesome people during the trip and make lots of great memories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was looking for information about traveling Europe, and I read a post about couch surfing by chance, and I just thought that this is what I wanted to experience. I wanted to meet new people from other countries during the trip, and couch surfing seemed like a very good choice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, since this is my first time trying couch surfing. But I lived in US with my host family in 2009-2010, and hosted Japanese students for 5 days in 2004.

I listen to all kinds of musics, and I love watching movies and reading books of every kind.

Too much things to write all of them down here.. But if I had to pick just one, while living as an exchange student in USA during high school(2009-2010), I went to Hawaii trip with exchange students from all over the world and it was simply the most inspiring event happened in my life. They were all nice and we really enjoyed the trip, making lots of memories together. We still keep contacting to each other and I love that how we got so close, even though we're all from different worlds.

I can teach you Korean, how to cook Korean food if you are interested in any, and anything else about Korean culture. And I want to learn everything that I can be taught, but especially I'd like to learn about cultures about your own countries, and basic useful languages.
