I teach philosophy at a community college in Illinois. I love to travel and roadtrip the US, but haven't been able to so much the last couple of years. I'm friendly, polite, and I love pets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to host and be hosted. Were you to need a couch, I'd make you welcome. Were I to need a couch, I'd be friendly and polite.

Every CSer I have met so far has been a credit to the species. I like that Couchsurfing involves gift economies, economies of trust and kindness.
