ABOUT ME

I am aiming to get a great balance of work, rest, play, practise, laugh, exercise, extending myself, friends and nature in my life. It is an ongoing journey.

I have been in Melbourne for about 4 years, previously I was in northern NSW with family and before that I was overseas (studying music).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had crouchsurfing experience, only woofering in Southern Western Australia

Interests

My interests are walking in nice places, playing clarinet, riding my bike, qigong, gardening (+plus I own a mower), reading about various ways to approach practising and playing music, and travelling. I have lived in Adelaide, Sydney, Perth, New York, Graz in Austria and London.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy classical music, Balkan, Klezmer, Manouche (Django Reinhardt) and jazz. I listen to RRR, PBS, ABC, 3MBS & SBS radio. I like European and British movies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning German and have joined one German speaking group but looking to join another. I do some volunteer work for a world music orchestra.
