About Me

Curious, open-minded, "easy to care", always interested in gaining experience and having a good discussion. Volunteered in an art museum and travelled through Indochina for 5 months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered it by my neighbour that shared some hosting experiences. I live in a shared flat and can`t offer a couch at the moment, but I consider it for the future.

I had 5 hosts so far, yet my experiences with couchsurfing were great! I`m very impressed about the hospitality, spontaneity and openness that you can find in this network and had some awesome experiences.

Interests

Listening to music (especially on Vinyl), travel and explore, visiting art museums and exhibitions. I guess I`m a little bit of an "anything with media" person.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? Often changing. Shoegaze, Noise-Rock and Alternative, electronic stuff from time to time, but in general I enjoy a few albums in most genres. Mostly stuff from the late 80`s and 90`s.

Books? Steppenwolf, Demian, Lonesome Traveler, The Plague, The Grapes of Wrath . I`d say mostly authors from early to mid-twentieth century. Reading "Montauk" by Max Frisch at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling for 5 months in Southeast Asia, often by motorbike and with people I met on the way. Trekking through Laotian jungle and discovering Angkor archeological park by bicycle. Special experiences may be flying a boeing 737 in an Lufthansa simulator and exploring a few abandoned places (e.g. Spreepark in Berlin and an abandoned governour residence in Cambodia).

Teach, Learn, Share

I`m not sure if my "vast" life experience of 21 years can lead you to changes of mind, but I`m always open for discussion and discourse. Talking together means teaching and learning at the same time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories and experiences of my journeys through Indochina and eastern europe.
And most important: Honest curiosity for anything that`s worth to have a passion for!
