I am an independent girl from Belgium. My family lives all around the world, so I got hit by this cool contagious disease too. I am always looking to meet new people, to improve my English and to discover what I don't know yet.

I studied communication/journalism in Brussels, Belgium. Then, I was working as a barista, taking vacation every months, mostly to go to Germany to visit other travel buddies there. I got sick of the Belgian way of life, so I left everything and start a travel way of life.

The tour started in Germany and ended up here as well. Now, I am less available to meet new people, but if you are family-friendly person, we , my baby and I, would love to :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Years ago, I was traveling to Amsterdam with a couple of my classmates. One of them had a CS profile and found hosts for us. Later, I used CS by myself, and traveled a month in London to improve my English. Today, I keep using it, to go out for a beer in my home country or, mostly, to meet people when I travel ;-)

Interests

I like to watch series, to surf on the internet, to go out for a beer or two. I also love to see concerts and to go on festivals. I like to talk with people or just to look at the landscape and write down my feelings. I like to be curious about any new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen mostly french music, alternative rock, world music, sometimes rnb. I don't define my music style. I am open to everything. I just don't stand classic, techno, and hard metal.

I watched Twilight and The Host (all of them...yes I did.), Titanic, Disney movies (even the last ones), The hobbits (awesome movie!), lord of the ring (I had to) and Star Wars (I had to...).. What I like the most is to watch American girly series, or documentaries about traveling and technology.

I don't read so much. Though, I like to start traveling with one book and then exchange it with a new one on the road. That way, I never go back home with the book I had before and I always discover what you guys like to read :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn so many things ! I want to learn mostly about outdoor sports, but also cooking, handy work, the local way of life...

People often say that I am good company. I love the outdoors, I like to organise events so that is definitely not a problem for me to arrange one no matter where I am. I do some crafts, not much, but looking to do more.

I was an expat in 6 different countries so I can also give you tips about that.

Currently working on my own project, I am always listening to advises.

Ps I can cook too, especially Belgian waffles!

What I Can Share with Hosts

People I met use to say I am a smiley-'easy-going'-beautiful hair-happy-interesting girl. Which kind of annoys me to hear always the same. So I might not taking compliment the right way.

Also, I use to say whatever is on my mind from the first 5 minutes when I met someone new. Don't take it badly, I just don't think, I mostly live without worrying.

Anyway, I can share my positive attitude, and my happiness any time. I am in a great mood those past months, since I left home just to go on the road. I can share some help, with cooking, handy work...anything spontaneous. I love surprises so I might do some with you as well, mostly good ones, don't worry ;-)
