ABOUT ME

In Thailand they named me 'The crazy curly lady'I would definitely describe myself as eccentric and a bit 'out there' I think my nearest and dearest would just describe me as 'unhinged' but in a good way! haha. I hail from Bristol in the UK but have not spent much time there in the past few years as I have been travelling the world having amazing adventures and meeting Incredible people from all over the globe! I love it and am loving New Zealand which is where I plan to be for a good while!

PHILOSOPHY

'Trust me, it’s paradise. This is where the hungry come to feed. For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven’t tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It’s probably worth it'

I have only recently joined couch surfing and have hosted two great people so far! looking forward to making it a regular thing!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Cure, The Doors, David Bowie, Tracey Chapman, Primal Scream, the Smiths, Radiohead, Happy Mondays, Joy Division, The Clash, The Jam - Most of my favourite music was made 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's. I am obsessed with British comedy and think its what we do best! two of my Hero's are Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. I am a film nerd and one of my favourite directors is Shane Meadows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed with a moroccan Burber tribe in the Sahara Dessert and slept out under the most incredible blanket of stars I have ever seen, done a 16500 feet skydive, Snorkelled the great barrier reef, Lived and worked in an Southern Indian Gypsy community running a volunteer, livelihood and development chairty project.
