ABOUT ME

I work as a software developer in Zagreb, Croatia. I spent a year in Bratislava working for our sister company. Although I love my job, it unfortunately leaves me very little time to do some traveling.

What else? Oh yeah, I make a mean omelette so if I host you, you can be sure you won't go hungry ;).

PHILOSOPHY

I think that there's really only one rule by which every person should live, and that's "don't be a jerk to others". If you live by that rule, you pretty much can't go wrong whatever you do.

Although my apartment is not very large, I can occasionally host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some couchsurfers before I was a member of this site. I found out about couchsurfing through a friend of mine who is an active member.

Intereses

Wow, a tough one. Let's see, I like programming (obviously :)), rock climbing (I only do indoor bouldering, though... I'm going to have to try climbing a real rock one of these days). I also play the guitar (badly). Other than that, I like going out with people and listening to various types of music (just about any kind from jazz to punk to electronic music, really - as long as it's good).

Música, películas y libros

I used to read a lot more when I was a kid. Nowadays, I only read books on software development. I also like surrealist and pop art, William Blake's poetry and Neil Gaiman's Sandman. As far as movies are concerned, I'm not much of a moviegoer. I'll probably go see a movie if I get some good references.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Went to see Dali's house in Figueres. He once said that the only difference between him and a madman is the fact that he is not mad. I couldn't agree more with that sentence.
