ABOUT ME

I'm a 32 year old white female American currently living in Wisconsin, USA. I'm physically active person, I love playing ultimate Frisbee, hiking, swing dancing, board gaming, and socializing! I don't drink much, usually 1 beer is enough for me, but I love meeting new people and establishing new connections across the globe.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that connecting with people is one of the most important things in life. I try to live a life that doesn't involve a lot of expense, but does involve a lot of time outside and enjoying time with people!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a traveller so right now using CS mainly to find couches as I travel around Asia, specifically Japan at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled around Europe and a bit in SE Asia, and have stayed with friends, but this will be my first time staying at a couchsurfer's house!

Music, Movies, and Books

There are really tons of movies, music, and books that I enjoy. Recent favourites of TV shows that I've been watching include Mad Men, House of Cards, and Game of Thrones. I'm currently reading and enjoying World War Z, and am listening to a lot of Vampire Weekend. I also read a fair amount of comic books including manga, and watch anime from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many....but for now I will say hiking to the top of Jirisan in South Korea. It was my first time hiking to the top of a mountain which was the part of a huge mountain range, one of the most amazing views I've seen so far!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've travelled around the USA, Europe, and a bit in Asia and the Middle East, so I think I've got a lot to share in terms of experience and things I've learned about how people live in other cultures. I've ate pigs blood, camped in the desert, hiked mountains, and done lots of other things that I couldn't have if I just stayed in my home state of Wisconsin!
