I am quite impulsive when it comes to travel - why plan too much?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have surfed a bit in several European countries, attended a number of events.. Once we went kayaking for 4 days in a Belarusian wilderness!

Why not be on Couchsurfing when it offers so much fun?

Interests

Music - rock-ish. Most other genres are ok as well. I probably enjoy rap/hip-hop/house the least, but even that can go well under certain circumstances. Otherwise - video games, astronomy and other geeky stuff. I also play badminton regularly and go to the gym not-so-regularly.

Horror movies, comedies, fantasy/action.. I prefer popular modern fantasy series like Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, etc. I have also enjoyed popular science books such as Bad Science by Ben Goldacre and The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, some book about Stephen Hawking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept on top of a small mountain and watched the stars with friends - the first time I saw the Milky Way in all it's glory!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Even though most people in here claim the opposite, I'll be honest: I cannot cook anything more sophisticated than a sandwich.

I will be happy, however, to talk, walk and socialise so that it would be a mutually rewarding experience instead of just a sleepover. I can bring board games if you like!
