À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out my mission on earth

ABOUT ME

Introverted but sociable, I can adopt really quickly to any kind of environments. Been through ups and downs, not a lot but it's pretty shaped me to be who I am today.

Travelling has been and will be a lifelong interest. We don't really have long break/ holiday here in Vietnam (except Tet - and when it comes we have to be back home and join family gatherings and all), so I manage to go visit some places once or twice a year. Been to Phuket, Bintan Island, Palawan... and hope to be able to visit more beautiful beaches in the world.
Reading (mostly listening to audiobooks) is for my time alone. I prefer books about psychology and inner-body science books, just want to explore what's behind all the rational and irrational actions we're acting everyday
Watching movies is the most favorite activity of the day. I get really emotional watching sad/romantic movies as if I were in it, sometimes I even cried out from watching. Favorite movies of all would be love during hard times and during wars. I would enjoy a little offering of beautiful scenes of nature/forests/beaches/new frontiers in the movies as well

PHILOSOPHY

"when you understand that life is a test, you realize that nothing is insignificant in your life... Everyday is an important day, and every second is a growth opportunity to deepen your character, to demonstrate love..."

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My colleague suggested me to find a couch in Manila for my Philippines trip but I didn't try it because I was in a hurry at that time. So I got my hostel booked, and the trip was planned out the way any other tourists would do. Being back, I forgot about the site for a while, and one day I realized that I have to get out more, make more friends instead of staying at home whining about how lonely I was in down times (haha). I met some 'local' people during CS meet-ups, all of them are fantastic. We exchanged travel experiences which I hardly heard somewhere else. Besides, joining the group will get me to travelers that are new to Ho Chi Minh City, then I can help make them less worried about our local ways of practice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to this site, but I have volunteered to bring guests to some historical sites of the city before, so it would be fun to be back
