Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First I don't have much money (and many people don't). I think it's a valid argument for couchsurfing. Why should only people with much money have a first class vacation?

Second it's a very good possibility to learn things about people and places, history and society, that no museum or travel guide will explain to you.

And sometimes, you even make new friends.
