About Me

I try to say yes to everything. I believe everyone has something valuable to offer, even if they're unaware of what that may be. I am terrified of technology, and the idea that people can't look me in the eyes for a few seconds but can stare at a screen for hours. I love people and am trying not to let NYC destroy my faith in humanity :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's really important to connect with people in cities all over the world, and get a sense of the lifestyles that exist all over the place. Oh, and NYC is stealing all of my money.

Interests

a few things that make me happy: chuck palahniuk, toby's estate coffee, coffee in general, caribou, the knife, mountains & beaches, puppies, being shameless, new people, new places, beer, traveling, nice jewish boys, free will, yoga, aimless walks, tattoos, talking to strangers, bodies of water, asking questions, being asked questions, cuddling, smiling too much, embracing the unknown, comfort in silence, moving constantly.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a music enthusiast, your taste in music says a lot about you ;) Favorites include: red hot chili peppers, caribou, the knife, cherub, little dragon, panda bear, beach house, grizzly bear, jamie xx, four tet, junior boys, cut copy, metronomy, toro y moi, yeasayer, strfkr, unknown mortal orchestra...the list goes on and on.

Currently completely addicted to reading Murakami, but my all time favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk. I love books that explore the overlap between the real and the outlandish/bizarre, and falling in love with characters.

And, I'm a horror movie junkie!

What I Can Share with Hosts
