About Me

I was living in small city in Indonesia so our family didn't have chance to travel; even within our country. That's why my childhood dream was to be a traveler. I remember that I could remember all the capitals in Asia, Europe, America and some capitals in Africa when I was child. I had a dream that I would like to travel to the places that I love someday. However, I never had a chance to do that therefore I was starting to forget those.

Suddenly, about 5 years ago. I had a chance to have my first flight. It was vacation to Thailand by the company that I worked. I was very excited to fly and suddenly I remember my childhood dreams. Then the adventures begin; I started to travel other countries within South East Asia, then crossing to India, China, Australia, and Europe. It feels like an addiction; but in good way. I'm so delighted that I could have a chance to visit my following bucket lists:

- Climbing the Great Wall of China (twice; different routes)

- Watching the beautiful Taj Mahal by own eyes. (Indeed; very beautiful)

- Watching amazing sunrise and sunset in Bali and Santorini. (Both are the most amazing sunrise/sunset in my life).

- Sightseeing in Paris

- Eat Pizza in Italy

- Admiring Hagia Sophia in Istanbul

- Touching an ice; but not from fridge in Inner Mongolia !

- Mount Fuji

- Alhambra, Spain

Meanwhile, there are some of my bucket lists that haven't been achieved yet;

- Macchu Picchu

- Pyramid and Sphinx

- Al Aqsa and Dome of the Rock

- Chichen Itza

- Watching one of the World Cup match; but not on TV

- Could speak more than 10 languages :D

I'm lacto ovo vegetarian so I love to have vegetarian culinary trip while I'm visiting other countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most of the movies genre; but I love Sci-Fi and history movie at most. Currently, I'm crazy in love with Game of Thrones !

I can listen to any of song genres; mostly top40 such Ed Sheeran & Snow Patrol; rock such Muse, Rammstein & Arctic Monkeys. However, when goes to singing; I can only sing rap song such Asher Roth's one hit wonder song and Gym Class Heroes because my tone sound awful when singing pop song. :P

I rarely read books but I love to read news regarding to the international relations, airlines; hotel miles (really worth when I didn't get couch lol), history and of course about travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Walked around 13 km under -15 C during the landslide in Inner Mongolia

- Was halted in Ukraine immigration so I missed the flight to Italy and I have to change all my plans in Italy to catch my flight back to Asia from Switzerland

- Communicate to Korean traveler in Kapadokiya (Turkey) using her google translator because she can't speak English at all. However, on the next day I got karma when I have to communicate using google translator to Turkish people in Trabzon because my Turkish language was very bad and 99.9% people in Trabzon can't speak English.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn languages. However, due to my hectic working hours so I didn't have many chances to improve it. I used to take Mandarin class but stop it after I have to move another city. Therefore, it's hard for me to improve languages other than my mother language. However, since I often move to another city in Indonesia. My language capabilities in native languages are improving. There are around 700 languages in Indonesia but at least I could speak three of them plus some dialects. Not bad either. :p

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't cook but I'm sure that we can look for breakfast together and also we can share our stories.
