CURRENT MISSION

In Paris for 6 months, working for a youth-engagement NGO called Global Potential that works with disadvantged youths in La Courneuve. Am here to enjoy the city, support a cause I belvieve in, and practice my French as well as keeping up my Spanish!!!

ABOUT ME

Love languages, love dance, love the sun. Love going to the little bio markets in Paris and learning to cook with whatever I pick up. I love the river here, but I miss the sea by my hometown. And I miss Colombians, and am slightly scared by the French, haha- they shout at me in the street!!! When I'm not working, I sing, I read, I dance and I drink wine. Or rum.

PHILOSOPHY

In the process of acquiring one. But I believe there's no end-point to that. One just has to keep on learning.

Intereses

I study French and Spanish so I'm big on arty subtitled films (will never say no to an Almodovar). I'm currently teaching myself to cook. I love dancing- have been dancing salsa for 5 years now, keen to try other styles although Morris dancing is out of the question. I live for the sun.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Flew into a red zone of Colombia in a helicopter with some soldiers and a US diplomat who I was interpreting for in order to visit an education centre there.
