About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel the world

ABOUT ME

I'm 22 and I grew up in Tucson, AZ almost my whole life. Things weren't going good for me there the past few years and the city is goin down the drain in general so I had a bit of an epiphany. I figured I'm still young, no longer have any family or commitments, what the hell, I got nothing to lose. I'm gonna go out n see where the universe will take me. so I have been crossing the U.S. since Jan 6,2013. Hitchhiked my way out to DC stopping in different towns for work along the way. Then from DC I actually ended up on the Appalachian Trail for 2months and 560 miles. Got off in VT and made my way to the coast, and fate brought me out to Portsmouth, NH. Have been here about a month and found work and am looking for a semi-permanent residence while I save up for the next adventure. I want to find an opportunity that will take me overseas and continue my dream of seeing the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that personal freedom is the most valuable thing in life. We should all be free to go out there and live our lives w/o being held down by something. My personal philosophy is "Leaf on the wind", I go where the universe takes me w/o looking back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done my fair share of couch surfing in my life, just not through this site. Both while living in Tucson, AZ and while I hitchhiked across the states. And am always willing to help out my host with any work or chores that they need done.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just packing my life into a bag and leaving behind all what little I had, and all I've ever known, to go out into the unknown to see what the world has in store for me. I've roughed it through about every kind of weather other than a hurricane, seen all kinds of different landscapes, and met people from many different walks of life. I've let go of the reigns and let life steer me to wherever I end up.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can tell you a hell of a story about crossing the US on foot, and the new outlook on life I got when I found out that there really are so many good-hearted folks out there still willing to help other people out. Even a stranger. Which goes to show, you never really know how much of an effect you can have on people with just a little bit of goodwill.
