I desire new experiences, getting out of my comfort zone and pushing my fear to the front lines to face it head-on. My soul is in need of healing, so I will go on a journey to create my own solace.

I am always striving to evolve in every way possible. Spiritual, Mentally, Emotionally, Physically.

I am driven by the need to create new experiences for myself. I desire this journey with my soul and I, and those of the world no matter how far I go. I look forward to meeting new people and hearing your story as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hate to admit but must be honest with myself, I have not participated in a long time. That is also why I need to do this for myself. I need to get out there and be a part of the community no matter where I am.

Joining The Peace Corps is my dream.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sister Erinn told me about this website when I expressed my desire to go backpacking for awhile and find some healing for my soul. I feel it has gotten lost, I have endured a lot of loss recently and crave connecting with my inner self. I begin my journey in September and am feeling very optimistic about what experiences I may have.

Interests

I really love taking pictures and consider myself a photographer. I also enjoy writing poetry and basic journaling.

I played a lot of video games, enjoyed watching a few TV shows, total Movie Whore. Especially for Classic Disney films. I was on facebook all the time, glued to my phone. I desired tapping into my roots, I will not be doing these things until my journey ends and even then who knows!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a lover of music, the only kind I have ever not preferred is country and dubstep. I enjoy music that is relaxing, can tell a story, and has poetic/emotional depth.

One of my favorite CDS right now is "From The Birds Cage" By HRVRD I highly recommend giving it a listen to anyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote an article and sent it to Insights Magazine. It was about a personal struggle and experience of mine, I won first prize. They called to ask me if I wanted to be on the cover a couple weeks later! My story was published with worldwide distribution in Summer 2005.

I love to learn new things, even if I may get impatient with myself. Learning is a lot of my drive to have this journey.
