About Me

...not everyones cup of tea kind of person. some might call me horrible, some might call me great, but everyone will agree - I am (a bit) crazy.
I am an orchestra conductor by day, high-end bartender by night, I do charities, I work with teenagers consulting, sometimes I crash and lay in my bed all day long, sometimes I wake up at night and go for a walk or a drink in one of my favorit bars around or far away in another part of the city just for my special drink and a good friend working behind the bar.
I give myself all the freedom of doing what I want and in the same time I never abandon my responsibilities. I try to live happily and do no harm for others, concentrate on long-term wishes rather than short moments of weakness, I try to live my best life and I try to always help other to achieve the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, but as long as my life rythm is so crazy and most far place I go is the bar in Charlottenburg I want to also host people, hear the stories and build friendships in far corners of the world.

Interests

-I am training for a marathon right now (and you are free to join me if you dare waking up before birds).
-I love art and music (I lean towards more conteporary stuff, yet some of my favorits includes Mozart, so... balance).
-I love brunch. Something about that quiet cup of coffee after first few hours of intense work in the morning.
-I love eating and drinking and the whole culture of that (I do eat mostly vegan, but then I might go to best street food place in the city and get fancy cheese with truffles or iberico ham, it is all about quality and discovering of new tastes - it is a part of my work that I love and a part of a culture, though bare in mind this happens rather rarely).
-I love (almost) anything active. Hiking, biking, jogging, walking and ect.
-I am very involved in whatever I do (so I do study whiskey and opera at the same time).
... did I mentioned music and arts already?... make it double.

Music, Movies, and Books

*Don't really have a favorit movie. I will watch everything once. I am more of an "opera in a movie format" lover. I like light hearted movies, such as "Whatever works" by W.Allen.
*Music... on my free time I listen to jazz, maybe something more acustic or indie kind of (name it Fat Freddy's Drop), star my morning with Sinatra or Ella and Louis. On more serious moods or work related my all time favorits includes Mozart's "the Magic Flute", Puccini's "Tosca", Schoenberg's "Verklarte Nacht" and many more...
*Most I read is biographies of composers or books about drinks and cocktails. I also love F.S.Fitzgerald (and not because of the Great Gatsby or The curious case of Benjamin Button)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*Most amazing experience in my life - conducting and making the opera. That was just. Amazing few months.
*Being trapped in the bus in the middle of Germany because of some incident in highway and play cards with travelers and bus drivers and share stories. Don't know why I choose this memorie, it was just very. Beauthiful moment.
*Working in the bar and meeting the most inspiring and amazing people and talking with them till early hours after all the people are gone and the bar is already closed.

Teach, Learn, Share

*I can teach you cook vegan and shake a cocktail like a professional. Some bits about whiskey, loads about music (I doubt you wanna hear that one).
*You still can teach me more of the vegan recipes. I want to learn dance tango, rumba, salsa. You name it. And always wanna get better at german. And a new pont of view on life.
*I share a lot with people. Where ever you wanna be involved - you are always welcome. Sharing is a matter of both sides. One has to be inviting and another one has to be open minded.
