About Me
ABOUT ME
Bay Area native living in Sacramento County. Completed my undergrad at UC Santa Cruz home of the Banana Slugs and finishing my graduate degree at American International College... Go Yellow Jackets! I'm an avid runner and cyclist. When outdoors, I enjoy hiking and tree climbing. My indoor-home activities including cooking, gardening, and listening to podcasts or audiobooks. I'm pretty laid back, always clean, and easy to be around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to engage with the community. Tourist attractions are always nice. However, I am more interested in the shared human experience across continents and cultures. We are all connected and I yearn to embody and understand the principle of a united human experience.
Interests
When I'm not working all the time, I like to get outside and run, hike or ride. I started climbing at a local climbing gym a few years back when I was living in NYC. Probably one of the hardest things I've done to date, but an awesome feeling when you reach the top. Now that I'm in NorCal again, I climb trees. 😁

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) I boarded a plane to Paris with only my passport and backpack and no plan. It was the most terrifying experience for a shy 21 y.o. queer-black kid from the Bay Area. It wasn't until the plane took off that I realized what I had done. I spent the entire flight talking to strangers, my only goal... get out of the airport into the city. I knew I could figure it out from there. I met a lot of people on that flight. I spent the next 3 months traveling through Europe. It was a life-changing event.
