SOCIALIZED HEALTHCARE! seariously. well, kind of seariously. If by "mission"you mean talk about it, but not put much effort into it, than yes, its my mission.

ABOUT ME

adventurer. traveler. artist. i'm 34, so don't keep late hours or party like i was 20. not dead yet either, though.

Had a mid-life crisis when i was 21, left school and bought plane tickets. went broke then surfed buddies couch. made money and repeated. buddy's got married. no longer surfed on couches. finished up degree (BFA- painting, background in education) kept going back to spain (why i ever left Galicia, i'll never know). last time there, i learned what "exchange rate" means. 1.3 is not a small number when you're there for a month.

love life. get bored. just can't shake this wander lust. i'm loving WV, good 'ol country fun. fairly close to florida (by close i mean east of the mississippi)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'm just looking to meet people that have similiar mindsets as me. a bunch of neo-hippies with outside the box sensibilities. once i get back to the real world, definetly willing to extend a couch out there. as of now, i sleep in a tent at the company i work for, so i can't surf people i don't know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i'm new. just looking to get established here, get some couch cred., so to so speak... i feel like donnie brasco, only not a narc.

UPDATE: 10/20/13

I visited Morgantown, WV and the couple I stayed with was awesome. I went to a function (drinks at a bar) where a bunch of people from couchsurfing met up and had a blast. Most people on CS are travelers, counter-culture, interesting people and it was really cool meeting a bunch of like-minded people.

It would be great to have something like that here in Jacksonville.
