About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make loving friendships on all corners of the earth.

ABOUT ME

In a few words, I am an easy going recent college graduate who likes to be outside and see beautiful things.

PHILOSOPHY

Unless you are the monk-type whose true state of contentment lies in isolation, I believe that people must DO something to feel fulfillment. Exercise. Be active. Look around your environment and see what it has to offer. Relax, enjoy, be responsible but don't let yourself get too caught up in stress. Do what your insides tell you to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed before, but have also resorted to CS when looking for company either in my own city or in a foreign place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed about four times and have gone to meet ups and CS events in Budapest.

Interests

I spend a lot of my time doing the usual monotonous things that someone with a 9 to 5 office job does: sleep, work, gym, socialize... During my moments outside of this routine, however, I love to hike and be anywhere outside where there are trees, dirt, and horizon views. I like cross country running, camping, and talking about whatever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer of 2009 I spent a month in China and during this trip one of the most beautiful things I witnessed were the ever rare Guilin mountains. I spent three hours in a narrow wooden raft being pushed along a stream by a small town Chinese man while being what felt like inches away from the largest and most strangely shaped mountains I've ever seen. My eyes could barely handle it.

This summer I went hiking up a "small" mountain in New Hampshire. We were told it'd be an easy hour and a half hike, and though it took an hour and a half, it was not easy. All incline and not enough water in our water bottles to last the whole way. We were just about ready to faint when we reached the top, but our spirits changed when we saw the view below us. The road that we had came from appeared to be miles away and all we could see where the tops of so so many tall green trees.
