ABOUT ME

Born in Dorset, England, raised in Dubai from the age of 2 :) Half English/ Half Danish.
In 2009 I left Dubai to move to England for university. I did a Foundation in Art & Design in Bournemouth and then my BSc in Clinical Photography in London.
My parents left Dubai in Feb 2013 and moved to Denmark, I finished uni in June 2013 and moved over to Denmark.
In Feb 2014 I volunteered for 10 weeks in Nicaragua with Raleigh ICS which was a fantastic experience that really sparked off my wanderlust again and broke me out of my rut.

I'm currently studying for a TEFL certificate and I am moving to Spain in September to be a teaching assistant for a year :)

PHILOSOPHY

Right now I'm focussed on gaining more knowledge about the world before I decide where my place is :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have no CS experience so far. I've been a bit too nervous about actually going for it but hopefully soon!
I also haven't been able to host yet because I don't actually have a place anywhere. Since I left home I've been going between university accommodation, friend's places, and wherever my parents have been..

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love all sorts of movies especially Lord of the Rings, Pirates, Harry Potter, anything made from a YA novel, Avengers, X-Men, Batman etc. Also the odd chick flick, I'm not gonna lie.
Music-wise, I'm not fussy honestly, I love my fair share of rock, pop, musicals, country. Really a wide selection. I love live music, there's nothing quite like watching someone really skilled playing the guitar and singing..
Books-wise: Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Hobbit, Mortal Instruments, Divergent/Insurgent, Delirium, GoT, Eragon, 1984, Animal Farm, anything Jane Austen, Handmaid's Tale, bits and bobs :)
Gaming - WoW, LoL, Fallout, Dragon Age, Elderscrolls, Dishonored, Halo, Resident Evil. Not a stranger to platform fighters.. Or you know.. Spyro, Crash Bandicoot.. XD

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Well, I spent 20 years living in Dubai which was pretty great. I've skydived over the Palm. I've studied in two different areas in the U.K (London and Bournemouth) so experiencing that was interesting. I can drive a really old tractor. I've travelled through some parts of China (Beijing and Xian). I've climbed some of the Great Wall of China and I've seen the terracotta warriors. I've been inside the Beijing Olympic stadium. I've fed an alligator a raw chicken from the end of a lllooooonnnnggg stick and i've ridden an elephant in Thailand.
I've not really done anything independently though which is what I really want to do, all of the above was with family.
Update: Just got back from volunteering in Nicaragua for 10 weeks. Such a fantastic experience, though filled with emotional highs and lows. A seriously humbling experience and I feel like I've made some true friends for life :)

I can... share knowledge of what it's like living in Dubai, London, and on a farm in Denmark.. :P Honestly I am unfortunately not that skilled at anything other than reading, being enthusiastic, and gaming (to an extent). If anyone's got an XBox I can make them feel good about themselves when they thrash me at anything :P
If anyone's up for teaching me how to play guitar that'd be awesome.
