Hey! I'm Julia, a 19 years old student from Germany... I'm enjoying the colourful unimaginable world around me. . . at home and while travelling Always keen to start a creative action right away. It just makes me feel like being in motion. And motion is simply good: Life is about it. Change. Surprise. Gift. pure energy. Who know's, where the wind is leading you, what you'll find on the way? It's gonna be alright (just singing the song :)), as long as you're on the way... e.g. with your backpack in which you carry all the things that you'll need to get along.
World's full of exciting moments, just get them and share them with beautiful souls on the way.
I'm so happy about meeting heaps of interesting people while I'm on the road and listen to their stories. again and again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

this time, on the run... travelling beautiful NZ at the moment. All over the country, here and there looking for locals to get to know and/ or travel-companions to share time and adventures with. Since October, I'm enjoying the southern hemisphere... another few months will follow until June :)

How nice is it to firstly get to know new people from and at foreign places that spend time with you, get your friends... you know people from different places and when you're back home they might come to visit your country and sleep on your couch, then. It's just: What goes around comes around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pippi Longstocking (the swedish book by Astrid Lindgren, one has have to read at least once in life!), I'm collecting children's books with beautiful drawings, old german books, old european book, newer ones... never ending story :D
Love being at festivals and to have there just all around live-music... reggae, indie, singer/songwriter, guitar is good, piano is nice, both is beautiful, too :)
I love watching movies in repertory cinemas.
Besides, the two movies I'm watching again and again are the french "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" and Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" (this one like every new year's eve for the last 7 years except last December :D)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once and again: campfire, someone's playing guitar, all are singing together, summer nights with starry skies above...
to promenade barefooted in sand and soil...
knitted a cardigan... designed and sewed pants...
rescued three rabbits from the slaughterer when I was 10yo.
