ABOUT ME

A friendly person, essentially well-rounded€... Happy Inside (-but am able to accept and experience the unhappy in life too€¦) Adventurous though safe; essentially easy-going, although passionate€... Playful (sometimes very), but can be earnest... deep-minded- into deep/real conversations, real-spirituality; but also am light, and humourous€¦ Very creative (in terms of ideas/conversation/music, very communicative..). & sometimes can be very honest.
Like to think, also to feel, to experience€¦To be quiet, and to be energetic/spirited, when times are right for each€¦
Am "ambiverted" -i.e. extroverted, need to interact with people, LOVE GOOD house parties, etc. but also have an introverted side, need solitude, self-awareness, etc. (Can be very sensitive...)
Spirituality is Very Important.
(But words are rubbish for self-description)!

PHILOSOPHY

To explore and realise (all of)our human-nature & potential... Being-Myself completely alive... Not for myself alone... To somehow co-join real Spirituality and this Life (in all its changeable, varied 'messiness')... (All this is (very) meaningful Happiness for me)

Interests

Like music/music-crafting-authentic creative expressions;
-humansitic & (depth) psychology, very much;
-colour; Love all the colours in the rainbow - and those not in the rainbow, but like especially certain shades of orange, various greens and purples (-all the 'secondary' colours!)
-humour;
-real friendship (-the deeper, the stronger, the more honest (trusting) -& the more like-'€˜beinged'€™ the two of us are, the better);
-playing; -the aliveness, perspective & candour of confident/un-damaged children;
-the sixties decade, all parts of that decade that were interesting¦
Warm, Summer Days;
-eating (vegetarian)quality -food;
-fire; -earthiness & sensuality;- sometimes cooking; -many aspects -tho certainly not all, of Hispanic culture,& afro-caribbean culture & people (-love the spanish & italian languages).
-Thinking-feeling-sensing;-creating;-dancing;-face-painting;-good / interesting art€¦

Hate Injustice & cannot tolerate cruelty.

Altho somewhat left of centre, my political interests are more to do with the Environment, lessening animal suffering, and human rights (Amnesty Int. etc.) As a colleague at work once told me - cruelty to children (-in fact to any human) & animals are the things that make me angry 'quite rightly'. (Some people equate anger with hate; to me that is not usually true. The sort of Anger is close to Passion which is closed to Love; it needs to be respected and taken Care of (anger, the kind I am talking of, needs to have a heart!). Am a great believer in being able to experience and, if appropriate, express emotion. I certainly respect vulnerability.
When you are positive, you can afford to let the 'negative'/'weak' be in a safe-enough environment); you are not -or less scared of it, so you can see it for what it is, & hopefully put it in the right place, learning about the whole of life, and ourselves...
I am Lucky though, have a very strong Spiritual Centre, that helps balance away too-much-negativity...

Need to be 'fully/really myself' (this has about 30 different meanings for me)... Or truly alive and fulfilling (all) my potential.

Want to have my own, different (humanistic, progressive, Plus) primary school as my main, central career- ; as well as do my own norty/ alive/passionate/honest -n hopefully witty-funny music, both written & improvised (LOVE improvising when in the zone! Wud like it to be more than 'just sometimes'). Also- artistic/design-work, working with colour particularly), & drama; as well as counselling when I am even older (or when wisdom has descended upon me!) ...

Want-need to travel, 2 see & experiencing all these other cultures, - and 2 meet lots of lovely-amazing people from around the world... Warmer, stabler climates than the UK at least) suit body & soul...

I think it is very imp for all of us to be complete human beings- as fully-Alive as possible: i.e. having an alive-healthy animal nature (-'healthy selfishness')/ Real ('Good') Heart (Emotional intelligence) / Mind (Intelligence-intelligence) / soul-Spiritual-Nature/intuitive awareness. I need it all... At the same time, as much as possible... and there are more sides than this too! ...
To experience the whole of life... is something arrived at through being willing to look honestly at your being, and freeing-enlivening those areas that have gone somewhat dead. This is difficult... not for the faint-hearted... but if we knew the meaningful freedom and more besides that we would inherit from doing this, I'm sure we would risk and venture it.

Despite occasional pessimism about this sometimes shocking, partly-insane world, I am very positive and optimistic. Confidence is key.

Altho I have expressed who I am as an individual, the sort of things I want and need to do in life (& individual career, etc.), I Do want or even Need to have my own family with the right Partner as well... Both strands are important for a fulfilled life, for me anyway)
Need more and more to find my own 'tribe', my own kind of people; -a necessity for an 'ambivert')

Teach, Learn, Share

Very good counselling skills (I am told) - i.e. I do not judge people (who is anyone to judge another's... emotions!?), but encourage people to get it touch & express what they need to and express it. Equally/similarly, Spiritual Self-Knowledge...?
Good with kids (have experience with them throughout life); adore dogs, so can care-for-them (be a 'dog-sitter', very happily)... Natural ability with music... drama/acting... (design) Vegetarian cookery... (Watch this space...)
