Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to have a good time with people. I've surfed once, and I'm looking forward to when I get the chance to host, although Huntsville, Alabama doesn't get many surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in San Francisco and had an amazing time getting to know my host, the city, and the other surfers.

Movies: Happy Thank You More Please, Moonrise Kingdom, Forest Gump, and anything made by the Coen brothers.

Music: Greg Graffin, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Brown Bird, Fitz and the Tantrums, ACDC, Black Sabbath, Box Car Racer, Simon & Garfunkle, Johnny Cash. I love live music.

Books: Andrew Carnegie's autobiography, Atlas Shrugged, Ender's Game, Dracula, We the Living. My favorite book is Slaughterhouse V.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a whim, I biked from Atlanta, GA to Birmingham, AL in 33 hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to view everything I know as only the limit of my current knowledge. As that, I don't think I have much esoteric knowledge to share, but I like to share what I have and I'm happy to discuss pretty much any topic at length. I'm a very curious person, and sometimes asking the right questions makes all the difference.
