ABOUT ME
My name is Catalina, enjoying this life since 1987 :) I was born in Germany and lived there most of my life, did the quite normal thing, went to uni, had a job and an appartment. but when life was about to get what they call "serious" I decided that I wasnt gonna get a "real job" to be working in 5 days a week for the rest of my life to pay the bills. I went to travel australia for a year instead and since then me and my life went through the most amazing transformations.
I was realising more and more how much people in power want to keep us in the rat race of society and at the same time seeing that there is a way around it. To become self sufficient and rather spend the day gardening to grow your own food then to go to do some silly job to then pay for the shitty food in the supermarket. Just before I had to go back to Germany the universe opened up a door into a new life, I met my partner Tassie (couchsurfing funnily enough) and after a visit home I came back to enjoy this free life next to this beautiful creature. I have been here in our nursery in clunes NSW (foodplantsupply) for a good year and a half and at the moment we are moving out of here to a big property about 20 mins from Casino.
I am being with plants a lot in my daily moments, I also love all sorts of crafts and I do a "do your own tie-dye" stall at the local markets around here every weekend. lots of colourful fun, lots of lovely kids.
I dont really go out much in the classic sense, usually I am too poor for that anyway, and I prefer a smoke over a drink most times :) I love going dancing but, 3 days and nights of loud psytrance somewhere in the australian bush, shaking it all out! be silly like a little kid, dancing like crazy without trying to look sexy all the time. stepping out of societys preshaped boxes and feel the love that connects us all.

PHILOSOPHY

you can be who you want to be, the only limits are the ones you create yourself. life is so abundant and free and full of love if we can drop our inner barriers and conditioned patterns and stop judging ourself and others.
if we trust and let go it will come back to us what we need at the perfect time.
the actions and words and thoughts and intentions we put out into the world shape our reality.
still experiencing lots and lots of troubles with letting go.. jealousy is a hard one, so are anxiety and guilt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went couchsurfing a few times in Australia while I was travelling around. Now I am more permanently located I would still love to utilise this platform to connect with beautiful people from all over the world.
I also tend to be a bit shy so connecting to new people is sometimes not so easy for me and this is a quite helpful platform :)
