About Me

I'm a professional author and illustrator based in Santa Fe, New Mexico! I love meeting new people and learning about new places, and I'm happy to open my home to travelers of all kinds.
I like travel, linguistics, and long talks with passionate and self-actualized people.
If you want a host who can teach you about the local area, recommend food, museums, and events... then I'm your guy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch-surfed all across the U.S. when I was fresh out of High School and had a wonderful time doing it!! While in Japan, I hosted people from around the world and introduced them to our wonderful host-country. I had many people help and shelter me during my travels, and I intend to pay it forward :)
I believe in the model that couch-surfing represents, and hope that we can all embrace a more giving, egalitarian, and community-oriented style of living through these small acts of kindness.

Interests

I illustrate as often as I can for work and play. I'm finishing my fifth book, and in my free time I love to take long hikes through the woods. I enjoy discussing politics, history, and culture and I'm eager to learn more about the people I host and their experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I own my own home about 30-40 minutes walking distance from the center of downtown Santa Fe. There's plenty of space, a full kitchen, and your own bathroom. Plus a very friendly husky who can't wait to meet you!
I know the area pretty well, and would be happy to show people around the city or give them recommendations for things to do. Santa Fe has some of the best restaurants in the United States, and lots of beautiful art museums, historical sites, and galleries to see.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Dominican Republic, France, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
