ABOUT ME
I've been told the corners of my eyes are wrinkled from a life of smiles but that's what you get living beneath a hole in the ozone...
Love Australia, the open road, new experiences, sharing recipes and shooting the breeze. Big on meeting people from abroad and seeing life from their perspective. Tidy, generous and an honest cook. Seeking adventure one cup of rice at a time.
PHILOSOPHY
Regardless what life throws you - keep dancing and you'll be right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm generally a solo traveller, but enjoy spending time with other adventurers. I'm pretty handy with a porta-stove and a swag so it's not for dire need of accommodation but it makes trips far more interesting and personable. Besides, I couldn't bear travelling that long without cooking with someone!
At the moment I'm planning my ride through the states so I'm hosting through till June '14. I have to travel occasionally for work so availability is on-and-off but shoot me a request and I'll let you know.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I think floors are way underrated to be honest, but you can't beat a hot shower. Have a lovely house which is perfect for hosting - new to CS but I'm a seasoned entertainer for family and friends. It's been on everyone's holiday list the last two years; especially with an in-ground pool.

Riding, writing, diving, dancing, listening, hiking and mixing things with lime. A bit of poetry too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taught in Aurukun for six-months; notorious as the most policed community in Australia. Loved it so much I'm back up here helping other teachers into it. Plenty to tell...
Teach, Learn, Share
Acrobatics, handstands, cartwheels and all manner of upside-down-antics: I dabbled in a bit of capoeira for a few years if you want to try :)
I'm also putting together a spoken-word project if you're the scribbling kind. Would love to feature people/poetry on my travels.
