About Me

CURRENT MISSION

(I need to come back to this one)

ABOUT ME

I could use the line from Mary Poppins, "Practically perfect in every way", but I doubt many people would believe it. Those who know me well sure wouldn't. Classic introvert here, but I really do enjoy time spent with others. Like to travel and looking to use couchsurfing to meet others and discover new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just relocated to Columbia, and don't have a good setup to host yet. When I was in Atlanta, I was able to introduce some people to the city and have some good times, as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a couple of times, and surfed as part of my relocation move with a great couple.

Interests

Home renovation, gardening, design, architecture, good food, wine and beer, learning all sorts of new stuff, trivia contests, books (serious fiction, business, biography, history), movies, music, hiking, camping, road biking (cycling), genealogy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: So many books, so little time. I sometimes think my true calling is a librarian. Current favorites: literary fiction, biography, history, business.
Music: Classic rock, some jazz, some bluegrass, Celtic, classical, opera.
Movies: Classics from the 30's-50's, indie films, serious dramas, Monty Python.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(I'll come back to this, too)

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to cook, I know a little about craft brewing, I have design skills, know something of general business, despite an introverted nature I have learned to speak to groups, analytical, good at bar trivia.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland, United States
