Just moved to Paris for one year of exchange studies. Looking for a place to stay my first couple of days before I find to a more long-term solution :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, social girl from Sweden who is curious about most things I come across. I love traveling adventures and an active lifestyle. I enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing and beach volleyball, also reading good books and spending time with my friends and family. Normally I live and study in Uppsala. My studies that I find very interesting involve combining technical problem solving, focusing on fossil fuel free energy systems, with sociological aspects, such as human behaviour and issues in infrastructure as a contributing factor. Outside my studies, I am involved in Engineers Without Borders.

My hope is that this exchange year will broaden my understanding of the French language and of course offer the pleasure of getting to know the Parisian culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have been out travelling a lot I have only couchsurfed one time. That was in New York for a week and it went very well. I am really glad I got the opportunity because I got to explore NY guided by a local! After that I felt like giving back but since I have not had the best housing opportunities I have ended up with just meeting people in Stockholm for coffee or dinner.

Interests

All kinds of activities, interesting people, reading and experience culture and nature of all kinds in order to gain knowledge and a broader perspective. Also enjoy food of all kinds and a cup of good coffee always make my days so much better.
